What is a Chrisitan?

An often neglected part of the Church today are Jewish Christians.  As the early church debated the entrance of Gentiles into the Church, so today, many Christians are uncertain of the place of Jews in the body of Christ.  Unfortunately, many Christians are reluctant to reach out to their Jewish friends and collegues with the good news of the redemption that comes only through Jesus.  In a text that is dear to many of us, the Apostle Paul said, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16) For the most excellent resources regarding Jewish Christian apologetics see Dr. Michael Brown's volumes below.
