Evangelicalbible.com (aka macalmonmusic.com) is an evangelical company that only markets items that we can personally recommend. We are extremely selective in what we market. Therefore all of the the CD's that we sell are excellent. The chart below should be used as a guide to assist you in your purchase. Keep in mind also that our recommendations are subjective. At the same time we have had about 5 years of experience with MacAlmon and are now the 2nd largest distributor of Terry MacAlmon CD's. We have therefore come to know quite a bit about his music. If you intend on purchasing MacAlmon CD's for Christmas-Easter or as awards remember that 7 or more gets you free shipping!
1. This is the first MacAlmon CD I have purchased and I want a sampling of his music. The Glory of his Presence is not an “original” CD but an excellent sampling of live music from his previous albums.
The Glory of His Presence
2. I want to purchase MacAlmon’s “best” CD. Of course this is a highly subjective question, however, we have no problem recommending “Live Worship” for this choice. It was one of MacAlmon’s first albums and remains hands down the best! It has always been our top seller. It is still MacAlmon's overall best seller, even though it was his first Live album. I can think of no better gift for a believer than this CD!
Live Worship
3. I am a minister and need encouragement. Another highly subjective choice. We recommend “You’re My Glory.” This album has many encouraging songs and messages for pastors, teachers, elders and those who may be weary in well-doing. It also contains some beautiful classic hymns, such as Holy Holy Holy, sung in a most inspiring fashion.
You’re My Glory
4. I am looking for a live worship album with a focus on the believer’s freedom from darkness. We choose “the Sound of Heaven.” The song entitled “O the Glory” is a marvelous declaration of the freedom that we have in Christ over the powers of darkness. This album also has a “spiritual song,” which is a spontaneous heavenly song of the church in unison before their Savior. This is unique.
The Sound of Heaven
5. The album for the believer who earnestly desires to grow in discipleship and Christian maturity. “Visit Us” reminds us that the way of the Lord is prepared by the mercies and judgments of the Lord. An excellent album.
Visit Us
6. The album full of Spirit-filled worship songs that are very popular. (Agnus Dei, We Fall Down, Jesus, Name Above All Names, How Great is Our God) This is definitely destined to be another Terry MacAlmon Classic
For The Bride
7. The albums that containg only Terry MacAlmon without background vocals: Live Worship, I Came to Worship You & For the Bride.
Albums with background vocal and women solos in addition to MacAlmon: Visit Us-Sound of Heaven-You're My Glory
8. Children. Unfortunately we do not recommend nor do we market the “Worship Express” because it does not meet our quality standards. This does not mean that others have not profited from it, but it doesn’t rest on the same altitude as the other albums.
9. The instrumental CD’s are “Instrumental I & II” as well as “Holy.” “Holy” was an instrumental CD made with a live orchestra. Instrumental I has the most classic hymns. We have not made any “recommendations” here because all are used to help bring the believer into a place of worship, prayer, praise and study. These CD's can also be used in an office setting.
